Here is where you'll find all the information you need to know from the Harry Potter universe. There will be plenty of links so that you can further familiarize yourself with the world and Hogwarts itself, along with some basic information about the 'verse the game takes place in.

THE BASICS
⇔ The current Minister for Magic is Kingsley Shacklebolt. (not available for application)
⇔ The current headmistress at Hogwarts is Minerva McGonagall. (not available for application)
⇔ The current heads of houses are Unnamed NPC (Gryffindor), Pomona Sprout (Hufflepuff), Filius Flitwick (Ravenclaw), and Horace Slughorn (Slytherin). (not available for application)
⇔ Hogwarts is unplottable, meaning it cannot be found on a map, GPS, any spells, etc. It is literally unfindable unless you're told where it is.
⇔ Your character cannot leave the Hogwarts grounds. The exception to this is the ability to leave via secret passage ways (if you can find them) that will take you to Hogsmeade. However, your character will not be able to go beyond Hogsmeade itself.
